Job summary

Upchurch is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex mechanical construction projects from pre-construction to close-out. You will manage schedules, budgets, procurement, and client relationships across HVAC, plumbing, and process piping scopes for commercial builds.

The role demands strong leadership, problem-solving, and excellent communication to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Travel to job sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management in mechanical or commercial construction.
• Experience managing HVAC, plumbing, or process piping scopes.
• Strong reading of construction drawings and mechanical specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple commercial mechanical projects.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project financials, forecast costs, and maintain profitability.
• Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
• Serve as primary contact for general contractors, owners, engineers, and vendors.
• Coordinate with field supervisors to ensure alignment with plans and specs.
• Attend jobsite meetings and conduct project walkthroughs.
