Job summary

J.F. Brennan Company, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager with strong civil/marine construction background to lead estimating, bidding, business development, and multi-project oversight.

The candidate will coordinate with crews, vendors, and clients to ensure efficient progress, while applying sound project controls and leadership. The role requires a BS in civil or related field, 10+ years of construction experience (marine preferred), and willingness to travel up to 80% depending on project

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can assist with estimating, bidding, business development, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

If you have a proven background in marine or heavy civil construction and leading projects while maintaining a high level of professionalism, then we think you’d be an excellent fit for our team.

• Coordinates with crews, contractors, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers to ensure projects staying on track and being efficient
• Plan, interpret and implementdesign and application of construction methods
• Track daily project progress, operational management activities,submittal preparation and review.
• Ability to track costs to meet the projects budget
• Actively seek to find new business opportunities for Brennan Services
• Ability to travel to jobsites up to 80% of the time based on project type and requirement
• Other job-related duties necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position

Senior Project Manager Qualifications:

• Required B.S. in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management or related field
• Minimum 10 years of working experience with the construction field, heavy civil, railroads, bridges, or marine construction
• Strong construction background (Marine construction preferred)
• Knowledge of earth anchor, soil retention walls, pile driving, auger cast piles, micro piles, wells, and helical piers preferred
• Demonstrated leadership ability, problem solving skills and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement, value engineering and estimating)
