Job summary

Tec Group International seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead major capital projects at one of Canada's largest industrial sites in Baie-Comeau, QC. This long-term contract role starts immediately through December 2027 with potential extension.

You will oversee external engineering providers and construction contractors, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure delivery across FEL to handover, with governance, safety, and regular reporting to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing large industrial capital projects.
• Strong FEL (Front-End Loading) knowledge.
• Experience delivering projects in heavy industry.
• Experience managing EPC or Engineering Service Providers.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver capital projects from FEL through execution and handover.
• Manage project budgets, schedules and commercial performance.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Coordinate Engineering Service Providers and construction contractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with governance procedures.
• Manage project risks and opportunities.
• Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders.
