Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Spokane, WA, seeks a Project Manager to organize, manage, and plan complex research, development, and product implementation projects. You will evaluate bids, manage contracts, and enforce budgets while coordinating with internal teams and clients.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and risk assessment capabilities, with attention to codes, standards, and customer satisfaction. On-site work with cross-functional collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of related project management experience.
• EL06 and/or NICET certifications are highly desirable.
• PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable PM certifications are desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
• Manages installation, testing, and commissioning of low voltage systems (AV, alarms, access control, CCTV).
• Leads cross-functional collaboration to ensure project success.
• Ensures compliance with codes, standards, and customer expectations.
• Performs cost analysis and prepares project budgets.
• Conducts risk assessments and provides mitigation recommendations.
• Acts as liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
• Communicates with sales/marketing totrain and promote new projects and systems.
