Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a senior project manager to lead large commercial and industrial MEP projects in the Richmond area. You will own safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client relationships, guiding a team of PMs and engineers to deliver complex facilities.

With five+ years of PM experience, you will read construction documents, coordinate with Supply Chain, and mentor junior staff while shaping revenue forecasts and cost-to-complete projections.

Qualifications

• Five years or more of commercial/industrial PM experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specs.
• Strong communication, leadership and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead large commercial and industrial MEP projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Develop project schedules and workforce plans; estimate labor-hour needs and coordinate planning.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to procure materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Review RFIs and assess responses for scope, schedule, and cost impacts.
• Interpret specifications and guide decisions on equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate design detailing and fabrication planning with the Virtual Construction team.
• Support Superintendents with field operations and coordinate with field leadership.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Own revenue forecasts, cost-to-complete projections, and gross profit performance.
• Manage equipment, material, and subcontractor costs while overseeing labor costs.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
