Job summary

Syensqo SA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead all aspects of executing large industrial manufacturing facility projects, including grass root and expansion work, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will manage 5–8 team members, oversee EPCM and construction contracts, and drive FEL-based planning, with coordination across BU sites, reporting to the Steering Committee and ensuring startup success.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering; Mechanical or Chemical preferred.
• 15+ years in project management of large industrial capital projects.
• Experience leading international project teams.
• Strong knowledge of FEL, CPM, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead grass root and expansion project execution with safety as a priority.
• Coordinate with BU management and report monthly to Steering Committee.
• Direct EPCM contractors and manage procurement and vendor selections.
• Oversee scope, schedule and cost; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and life safety culture across the project.
