Job summary

KFI Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Industrial, Process & Agribusiness (IPA) department. This role leads complex projects, mentors staff, and supports business development across a multi-office environment in the Midwest.

The successful candidate will manage scope, schedule, and budget, ensure client satisfaction, and foster a collaborative team culture while applying engineering principles to oilseed processing and related industrial projects. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum fifteen years of professional experience.
• Experience in Oilseed Processing, Biofuels, Agribusiness, or industrial processing projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in engineering of projects to meet quality, satisfaction and financial objectives.
• Manages project execution, schedules, budgets, and invoicing accuracy.
• Provides staff direction, performance reviews, and mentoring.
• Contributes to business development through proposals and client meetings.
• Leads department resource planning and process improvements as IPA leadership.
