Job summary

PMD is seeking a Project Manager II to independently manage complex engineering projects, coordinate customers, and mentor junior staff when needed. You will own schedules, budgets, and scope, ensuring on-time delivery and quality results.

Responsibilities include weekly status updates, biweekly customer reports, vendor management, change orders, and proper documentation control across programs. Travel as required by client sites and project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Experience running at least 10 concurrent projects with a portfolio size of ≤ $15M and an average project size of < $10M.
• Automation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
• Establish deadlines throughout the project and monitor progress.
• Identify and resolves issues within the project scope.
• Define and manage resources to reach objectives efficiently.
• Track project costs to meet the established budget.
• Provide weekly updates and bi-weekly reports to customers.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers to meet project goals.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to meet project needs.
