Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. in South Florida is seeking a full-time Project Manager to oversee highway asset management on maintenance projects, balancing field supervision with client interfaces and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The role requires leading diverse teams, coordinating schedules, and delivering timely reports while adapting to changing project environments. Strong engineering background and DOT contract familiarity are preferred bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction project management, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in structure repair, project management, team leadership, and client-facing responsibilities.
• Familiarity with DOT contract operations.
• Technical experience with road construction or bridge maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills in a multi-faceted long-term project environment.
• Ability to lead field maintenance crews and office staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations for the Division.
• Motivate and develop a team of skilled and semi-skilled individuals.
• Coordinate financial planning and budget projections to assist senior managers.
• Tracking/reporting contract performance relative to plan, contract, and company targets.
• Work with Regional/Project Managers to develop short-term and long-term maintenance repair plans.
• Perform analysis to improve field prosecution, crew efficiency, and maximize operational safety.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for presentation to Client and Corporate operations centers.
