Job summary

IsoTalent is hiring a Project Manager in New York, NY to lead an onsite design-build team for the four borough-based jail project, ensuring design, budget, and schedule.

This full-time, onsite role requires 15+ years in construction with leadership, high-rise experience, and familiarity with NYC public agencies; you'll manage schedules, payments, change orders, records, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years on construction projects of varying complexity, including 7+ years in leadership.
• Proven record leading high-rise construction projects.
• Experience with traditional and design-build delivery.
• Experience working with New York City public agencies.
• Solid command of construction management software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team on the ground to keep design, budget and schedule on track.
• Coordinate with the construction contractor on practical, cost-effective plans.
• Review schedules, payments, budget projections, and change orders.
• Maintain records on contracts, drawings, permits and regulatory compliance.
• Walk the sites to check progress, quality, and safety compliance.
