Job summary

Goodfellow Bros. in Reno, NV is seeking a Project Manager to oversee technical and financial aspects of complex heavy civil projects. You will work with Owners, subcontractors, vendors, utility companies and agencies to keep work on schedule and on budget.

The PM will lead safety and quality programs, mentor engineers, and coordinate field teams. A 5+ year background in heavy civil construction and a degree in Construction Mgmt or Civil Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum five years' experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, grading, and underground utilities with contract documents.
• Proficient with HCSS HeavyJob, Word, Excel and MS Project; Vista is a plus.
• Valid driver's license; CPR, AED/First Aid, OSHA 30, MUTCD Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Administer technical and financial aspects of projects on schedule and budget.
• Lead pre-construction processes, safety plans, and quality control.
• Negotiate subcontracts and manage change orders with oversight.
• Coordinate with owners, subs, vendors, and agencies; mentor staff.
