Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in highway heavy construction as a Project Engineer or Construction Manager.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Positive attitude and motivation skills.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Instill Safety as a top priority.
• Manage and support a team consisting of Project Engineers, Superintendents, and project staff.
• Track and report project progress, budgets, and needs.
• Build relationships and communicate with owners or owner's representatives.
• Identify and secure necessary approvals for changes in project scope, budget and/or schedule.
• Provide monthly billings, cash flow projections, and process change orders.
• Assist with updating monthly schedules.
• Coordinate equipment and staff needs with management.
• Familiar with all aspects of the project.
• Serve as project representative with clients at meetings.
