Job summary

Pomona-Valley-Hospital-Medical-Center is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex IT and healthcare projects. You will use PMI and performance improvement methodologies, ensure timely delivery, manage budgets and resources, and mentor staff coordinating IT initiatives.

The role supports policy development and cross-department collaboration. Qualified candidates hold a PMP and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with 4+ years of hospital IT or project management experience and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, information technology, business or related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP).
Four+ years of hospital information systems and/or project management experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple complex projects using PMI and performance improvement principles.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and with expected quality.
Mentor staff coordinating various information technology projects.
Define priorities and manage budgets and resources for projects.
Develop policies and procedures related to information systems and services.
Prepare status reports and make recommendations to management.
May function as PMO Project Manager to define standards and best practices.
