Job summary

RWE Design Build is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex healthcare construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will manage multiple projects, maintain schedules and budgets, and serve as the primary client liaison with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

In this role you will mentor project teams, drive planning and risk management, review drawings and contracts, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while delivering outstanding results

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, healthcare construction, design-build, or general contracting.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale and complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Drive project planning, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and execution activities.
• Lead pre-construction efforts including estimating reviews, constructability analysis, value engineering, and risk assessment.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, change orders, invoices, and overall financial performance.
• Identify project risks early and implement practical solutions to keep projects on track.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear, timely communication to stakeholders and company leadership.
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and support Project Managers and project teams, helping drive consistency and best practices across projects.
• Deliver projects that exceed client expectations while supporting the continued growth of the organization.
