Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission seeks a Project Manager IV to lead complex projects within the Behavioral Health Services Division. The role reports to Strategy and Operations, coordinating planning, initiation, and implementation across cross-functional teams and executive leadership.

Telework may be available; travel up to 5% is expected. Responsibilities include communication with stakeholders, risk management, and driving continuous process improvements while maintaining thorough

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; relevant PM experience accepted in lieu of education on a year-for-year basis.
• At least three years of project management or operational experience.
• Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or public sector operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor projects from initiation through completion with deliverables, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate communication with project stakeholders and business partners at all levels; plan and facilitate meetings; develop mitigation strategies for risks.
• Provide communications training and professional development; disseminate policies and guidance; promote accessibility best practices.
• Perform other duties to support divisional priorities and strategic initiatives.
