Job summary

ICANN is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the new gTLD Program located in Los Angeles. The role leads project teams, delivering scope and objectives with solid processes, artifacts, and governance alignment.

You will work with program leadership to define scope, milestones, budgets, and schedules, preparing progress reports and ensuring timely completion while coordinating with other program leads on integration and dependencies. Strong communication and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong project management knowledge and ability to lead complex programs.
• Ability to define scope, budget, and milestones with stakeholders.
• Experience creating project artifacts (scope, schedule, risk log, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and report progress clearly.
• Fluency in English and strong written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the project and scope.
• Define project scope and goals with leads and stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities and resources through the project lifecycle.
• Create and maintain project artifacts (scope, schedule, budgets, risk logs).
• Monitor status, report progress, and escalate issues as needed.
• Lead meetings and enable effective decision making.
• Ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
• Provide planning and resource allocation services to support schedules.
