Metric Geo in New York City seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex ground-up residential and multifamily construction projects. You will own projects from preconstruction through turnover, guiding budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractor management, client relations, safety, and quality.

The role requires 10+ years in NYC construction management, a proven track record on large-scale residential projects, and strong leadership to mentor project teams and coordinate

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience, ideally with a NYC General Contractor.
• Strong track record delivering ground-up residential, multifamily, or high-rise projects.
• Experience managing projects through full lifecycle from preconstruction to turnover.
• Strong understanding of NYC permitting, DOB requirements, logistics, and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of ground-up construction projects from start-up through turnover and warranty.
• Develop, manage, and maintain budgets, schedules, procurement plans, cost forecasts, and project documentation.
• Mentor Project Managers, Assistant PMs, Superintendents, and project staff.
• Coordinate with Project Executives, Superintendents, architects, engineers, consultants, ownership, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, change orders, requisitions, invoices, retention, and cost controls.
• Maintain accurate ACR/cost reports and identify change orders, exposures, and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain master schedules and look-ahead schedules with field leadership.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings for constructability issues.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
• Lead owner/architect/subcontractor/safety/internal project meetings and prepare reports.
