Stafford Gray seeks a senior Project Manager to lead high-visibility technology initiatives for Michigan state agencies, including MDOT, AVL/GPS and RWIS. You will oversee complex programs with executive visibility, vendors, and stakeholders.

This one-year contract requires onsite work in Lansing two days per week from day one. Strong PM discipline, vendor engagement, and governance are essential; PMP or similar certification is preferred.

• Five+ years using system-development methodologies for new systems and enhancements.

• Five+ years analyzing data and developing actionable solutions.
• Five+ years leading working sessions and negotiating outcomes.
• Five+ years managing stakeholder relationships and resolving issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Current Michigan residence at submission time.
• Onsite work in Lansing every Tuesday and Wednesday from day one.

Aufgaben

• Lead projects from initiation through closeout using formal PM and SDLC methodologies.
• Support RFP planning, requirements development, vendor evaluation, contracting, and oversight.
• Coordinate project plans, schedules, staffing, budgets, quality controls, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Lead sponsor meetings, executive status reporting, stakeholder alignment, and vendor engagement.
• Establish project controls for visibility into cost, schedule, scope, quality and change.
• Develop long-term release plans aligned with SUITE methodology and agency priorities.
• Escalate risks and decisions and maintain accountability across large teams.
