Job summary

PMI U.S. is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Tampa, FL to lead cross-functional projects from initiation to delivery, establishing governance, managing scope, plans, budgets, risks, and resources to deliver measurable business value in line with PMI standards.

You will coach teams, enable decisions, and improve project management practices while partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders to drive timely execution and governance dashboards. Attractive compensation and hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive project management experience in global, matrixed, regulated, or technology-driven environment.
• Experience with ERP projects, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
• PM certification preferred (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, budget, quality, and business outcomes.
• Establish and maintain project governance, including decision forums, stage-gate reviews, escalation paths, steering committee materials, and executive reporting.
• Develop integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, financial forecasts, and dependency maps.
• Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and changes with clear options and recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, external partners, vendors, and SMEs for aligned execution.
• Monitor project performance through KPIs, dashboards, budget tracking, and benefits progress.
• Ensure documentation, controls, compliance evidence, and audit readiness throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and coaching to project team members, building capability and delivery discipline.
• Apply PMI standards, tools, templates, and continuous improvement of methods.
• Support portfolio leadership with insights, scenario analysis, and prioritization recommendations.
