Job summary

KEY Environmental, Inc. is seeking a full-time Project Manager/Geologist in our Pittsburgh (Carnegie), PA office.

This role is ideal for an experienced geologist with a strong background in environmental investigations, hydrogeology, subsurface characterization, and site remediation, overseeing projects from investigation through remedy. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, develop work plans and budgets, interface with regulators, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development in

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology, Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
Professional Geologist (P.G.) licensure preferred.
10+ years of professional experience with environmental investigations, hydrogeology, site characterization, and remediation.
Experience with state and federal environmental regulatory programs.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams and manage budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

Manage environmental investigations and remediation projects from site characterization through remedy implementation and closure.
Develop and manage project work plans, schedules, and budgets, as appropriate.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel.
Prepare technical reports, regulatory submittals, and remediation documents; interface with regulators.
Mentor junior geologists and build strong client relationships.
