Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead multi-discipline engineering projects from inception to completion. You will manage schedules, scope, and costs while coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining client relations on a global scale.

The role requires strong communication, analytical abilities, and experience with complex contracts and risk reviews. Primary location is US-MO-Kansas City, with multiple locations including Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years related experience, including 3+ years managing engineering or architectural projects.
• Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contracts on project-related matters.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional Registration preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of multi-discipline engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Establish project teams and coordinate activities across disciplines.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control costs.
• Manage client relations and contract negotiations.
• Lead risk reviews with Risk Department.
