Job summary

PCS Retirement, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple Product, Technology and Lean Management projects in the 401(k) and retirement services sector. You will work with Product Owners, IT, business stakeholders and executives to scope projects, develop plans and deliver on time and on budget.

You will guide project teams through the full lifecycle, ensure PM artifacts are produced, coordinate kickoff and status meetings, manage risks, and drive improvements in project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly desired.
• 5+ years of expert project management experience in financial services.
• Project Management certifications (PMP, CSM, SAFE Agilist) are highly desired.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and leading remote SCRUM teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional remote project teams and appropriate PM techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of projects including high exposure and complex technology initiatives.
• Leads project teams with kickoff meetings, status meetings, WBS, reporting and closure activities.
• Allocates tasks to team members and reallocates as needed to meet deadlines.
• Delivers projects on time, escalating issues and removing barriers when needed.
• Resolves issues quickly in collaboration with PCS management to keep teams productive.
• Establishes execution standards and uses PM tools per program guidelines.
• Partners with Product Owners and IT to manage technology-focused projects.
• Performs quality control to maintain project standards throughout development.
• Manages new work intake and change controls for project load.
• Influences decisions on scope, costs, resources, and schedules with stakeholders.
• Contributes to advancing PM practices and coaches others on best practices.
• Leads ROI discussions and documents forecasted returns.
• Communicates with senior leadership to ensure alignment with goals.
