Border States Paving, Inc. is hiring a Senior Project Manager/Estimator based in our Fargo, ND office. The role combines estimating leadership with hands-on project execution management for heavy civil, asphalt paving, grading, and sitework.

You will lead bid development, transition awarded work to field operations, and support superintendents to drive safe, profitable outcomes. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in heavy civil and DOT projects, a strong estimating background, and a

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred in construction-related field.
7–10 years of experience in heavy civil, asphalt paving, grading, sitework, or construction PM and estimating.
Heavy highway/DOT project experience strongly preferred.
Experience leading project teams, mentoring developing employees, and coordinating with field leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead estimating, planning, execution, financial performance, and closeout of heavy civil and asphalt paving projects.
Transition awarded work into the field and support superintendents and foremen during execution.
Ensure projects are completed safely, profitably, and in accordance with contract requirements.
Mentor and guide project teams to improve estimating accuracy, production planning, cost control, and overall project execution.
