Job summary

The Department of Administration in South Carolina is seeking a Project Manager II to lead enterprise technology projects across SCEIS. You will partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and sponsors to ensure on-time delivery, proper scope management, and alignment with organizational goals.

This onsite role in Columbia, SC requires strong governance, requirements gathering, and communication with executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, public administration, finance, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience leading projects, business process improvement, or system implementations.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation to support project goals.
• Maintain governance, transparency, and compliance through documentation and reporting.
• Support successful implementation and adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies.
• Assist modernization efforts and respond to emerging business needs with effective project delivery.
