Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. seeks an Engineering Senior Project Manager for our Monroeville, PA office to lead design, permitting, and construction-phase services for waste disposal facilities. You will mentor staff and coordinate with clients, contractors, and agencies throughout all project phases.

Qualifications include 10+ years in waste facility projects, a PE license or PA licensure ability, and strong leadership with excellent communication skills. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in the design, permitting, document preparation, and CQA of waste disposal facilities.
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.) or ability to obtain PA licensure.
• Understanding of consulting project business practices and project delivery methods.
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal/report writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autodesk Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, permitting, and construction-phase services for waste management facilities.
• Oversee landfill system design including liners, leachate, gas, and site infrastructure.
• Prepare permit applications, design reports, construction documents, and cost estimates.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate agency reviews while mentoring staff.
• Assist our engineering team with site development and geotechnical projects.
