Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions in Irvine, CA is seeking a Project Manager for a long-term, in-office role within the Development and Construction Management team. You will lead entitlement projects and post-entitlement activities, coordinating with jurisdiction staff and managing vendors to meet budgets and schedules.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in project management, deep CEQA knowledge (including EIRs), and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related work experience or equivalent combination.
• Hands-on experience leading projects through entitlement and post-entitlement phases.
• Direct CEQA experience, including leading EIRs.
• Strong communication and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and develop project scopes and budgets.
• Ensure all tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Monitor and present project updates to stakeholders and clients.
• Anticipate and prepare change orders and contract amendments.
• Identify and communicate project risks.
• Manage sub-contractors and vendors as needed.
• Navigate project complexities with innovative solutions.
• Ensure effective interactions with team, vendors, and clients.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project management team and junior associates.
• Uphold company values in daily interactions.
• Own key project metrics: yield, scrap, throughput, and first-pass quality.
