Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead complex engineering projects from inception through delivery. You will act as the primary client liaison, coordinating with engineering, supply chain, and quality to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in project management within heavy industry, plus a degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Travel is occasional and a hybrid work schedule is available in select locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within engineering/heavy industrial or construction firms.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or 10 years’ PM experience evidencing similar responsibilities.
• Experience in financial aspects of project management (margin, cash flow).
• Experience in matrix organizations, using influence and indirect leadership.
• Ability to travel on occasion, as required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from order receipt through delivery, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Own the customer relationship as primary point of contact, driving communication and escalations.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, quality, and logistics across teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Lead project execution with milestone tracking, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery.
