Job summary

Cleco is seeking a Project Manager to oversee capital projects, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction resources. The role requires strong leadership and communication to align stakeholders and deliverables across multiple business lines.

Applicants should have a strong engineering background, PMP certification, and extensive experience in project management within energy or infrastructure settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET approved curriculum or certification by the NCEES to sit for the FE exam
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or other 4 year STEM degree
• 6+ years of related experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in cost controls, scheduling, and construction management
• PMP Certification is required

Responsibilities

• Provide project oversight and management services for assigned projects
• Act as single point of contact for projects and communicate progress to sponsors and executive management
• Plan, schedule and monitor tasks to meet milestones and budget
• Coordinate internal/external resources (engineering, procurement, analytics, legal, etc.)
• Lead project teams and conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders
• Develop detailed project execution plans and budgets, manage change control
