Job summary

Cleco is seeking a Project Manager to provide oversight and management for assigned projects. You will serve as the single point of contact, leading project teams and coordinating with vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting to sponsors and executive management. The ideal candidate has a ABET/EAC engineering degree, or equivalent, with 6+ years in project management and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-approved curriculum or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with certification by the NCEES to sit for the FE exam
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or other accepted 4 year STEM degree
• 6+ years of related experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management roles: Cost Cont

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and management for assigned projects from start to finish
• Serve as the single point of contact for projects and keep sponsors informed of costs and progress
• Plan, schedule, and monitor tasks to achieve milestones and budget
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and Cleco departments to ensure successful deliverables
• Lead project teams and facilitate monthly or weekly meetings as needed
