We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

Job Overview:As a Senior Electrical Project Manager at CMD Electric, you will play a pivotal role in executing electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to contract requirements, and building strong relationships with both internal team members and clients. This position requires a disciplined and collaborative professional with a proven track record in electrical project management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute project objectives and performance standards in alignment with corporate policies.
• Lead and oversee all aspects of construction, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
• Participate in contract negotiations and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
• Manage and administer contracts, including change orders and claims resolution.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal team members and clients, fostering a high level of credibility.
• Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and potential challenges to clients.
• Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety standards.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
• Strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical project management experience in public works, federal, or private projects with individual contract values exceeding $5 million and portfolios exceeding $20 million. Multi‑family experiencea plus!
• Preferably holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related fields. Field experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Estimating experience w/accubidchange ordera plus!
• PMP or equivalenta plus!
• Capable of managing and mentoring project engineers and interns.
• Experienced in the design‑build delivery method, with preference for DBIA accreditation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
