About The Job Senior Electrical Project Manager

Elite Executive Solutions has been retained to conduct a confidential search on behalf of a well-established, highly respected electrical contractor with a strong presence throughout Southern California. Due to continued growth and a robust backlog of work, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead the successful execution of complex, high-profile electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from award through closeout.
• Maintain full responsibility for project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain project schedules while ensuring milestones and client expectations are achieved.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, design teams, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear communication regarding project status, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage contracts, change orders, procurement, subcontractor agreements, and project documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Superintendents to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution in the field.
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and other team members.
• Identify and proactively resolve project challenges while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical project management experience within commercial or industrial construction.
• Proven success managing large, complex electrical construction projects from inception through completion.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, and risk management.
• Experience managing project financials, including cost reporting, forecasting, and change management.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-standard project management software.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
