Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Electrical to lead large-scale electrical construction projects in El Paso, TX. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in electrical project management, experience with data center projects, and familiarity with major clients such as Google.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, specifically in electrical construction
• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in data center projects
• Experience with major clients such as Google is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices
• Excellent project management, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management skills
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency with project management software
• PMP or equivalent certification is desirable

• Lead and manage the execution of all phases of large-scale electrical construction projects, including conceptual development, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation
• Oversee project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and technical staff, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop comprehensive project plans with detailed timelines and cost estimates, and manage resources effectively
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to meet project objectives
• Report on project status, progress, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders
