Job summary

TD Thornton is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, engineering, construction, and commissioning of high-voltage transmission and substation capital projects across California. You will work as an owner's representative to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and compliance.

The role requires coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing schedules and budgets, and mentoring junior project managers in a hybrid Oakland, CA setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in electric utility transmission/substation projects.
• Experience managing high-voltage substation, transmission line, switchyard, or T&D infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, engineering, construction, and commissioning of high-voltage projects across California.
• Oversee projects as owner's representative from scope development through energization and closeout.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules with critical path and milestones.
