PG&E in California seeks a career-level Associate Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of assigned projects. You will serve as the single point of contact, using independent judgment to manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with sponsors, stakeholders, and external partners.

This hybrid role combines remote work with on-site responsibilities within the PG&E service territory.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; see experience notes.
3+ years in electric, gas, or power operations, engineering, business planning, accounting, finance, construction management, or project management.
In lieu of a four-year degree, 7+ years related experience may qualify.
PMP certification strongly desired.

Responsabilités

Leads project team with defined roles and responsibilities.
Defines project scope and objectives with sponsors and stakeholders; adjusts scope and schedule as needed.
Secures detailed work plans including schedule, cost, resources, and communications.
Secures management approval; tracks costs, scope, and schedule.
Maintains project documentation through lifecycle; manages cash flow and forecasts.
Manages tasks, dates, and scheduling in project tools.
Ensures timely procurement of long-lead materials.
Communicates status to stakeholders on a regular basis.
Assesses risk and formulates contingency plans.
Implements quality standards and reviews deliverables for variances.
Represents PG&E to government agencies as required.
