Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end capital projects for electric utility systems, including transmission, distribution, and substations. This hybrid role focuses on safe, timely delivery within budget while maintaining regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes.

You will develop project plans, coordinate engineers, technicians, contractors, and materials, and translate designs into executable field work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years experience in electrical engineering, project management, or related role.
• Transmission line and/or substation experience required.
• Experience with electrical utilities, system design, installation, and maintenance projects.
• Proven experience managing capital projects, programs, or portfolios.
• Strong understanding of utility project lifecycle (stage gate processes, planning, engineering, construction, commissioning).
• Experience with project controls (cost, schedule, reporting).
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• PMP certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end execution of capital projects from initiation to commissioning.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans with defined scope, milestones, and timelines.
• Translate engineering design into safe, executable field work and coordinate engineers, technicians, contractors, equipment, and materials.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle and ensure high‑quality outcomes.
• Maintain strict control over budget and schedule with proactive risk management.
• Engage clients with clear communication, updates, and issue resolution.
