Job summary

MBDA is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead fixed-cost programmes within a matrix organisation. You will interface with customers and suppliers, manage scope and risks, and collaborate with design and engineering teams to delivery milestones.

The role supports hybrid working with 2-3 days on-site at the Stevenage site, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including pension, flexible leave and bonus opportunities. Salary circa £50,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering fixed-cost programmes in matrix organisations.
• Experience managing project scope, deviations and change with impact assessment.
• Detail-oriented with ability to spot risks and opportunities in cost, schedule and quality.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, able to prioritise objectives and manage day-to-day actions.
• Able to construct and maintain project plans using Primavera or MS Project.
• Experience in compiling bids/estimates with design and engineering teams.
• Able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation.
• Engineering or production environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crucial projects within the manufacturing organisation.
• Interface with customers and suppliers and briefing senior management.
• Manage project scope, deviations and change impacts.
• Identify risks and opportunities and formulate mitigation plans.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
