Job summary

Juniper seeks an experienced Design Team Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary building design projects from planning through construction in a hybrid setup in San Jose or San Francisco. You’ll oversee budgets, schedules, quality, and client relationships while coordinating MEP and technology systems with architectural, structural, civil, and other design partners.

Projects include data centers, mission-critical facilities, cleanrooms, and manufacturing spaces.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with an architectural, construction or consulting engineering firm.
• At least 5 years managing multidisciplinary building design teams.
• Experience with large-scale, technically complex design and construction projects.
• Background in mission-critical, data center, cleanroom, or manufacturing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, engineering practices, project budgets, and schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD, Bluebeam/Procore, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams through design and construction.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, deliverables, and quality control.
• Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong project relationships.
• Coordinate design reviews, consultants, contractors, permitting, and construction activities.
• Resolve technical issues, manage design changes, and ensure project requirements are met.
• Mentor team members and drive collaboration and continuous improvement.

Pay: $140k-$180k base + bonus
