Job summary

dcb is seeking a talented mid or senior level Project Manager to join our design studio in Denver. The PM will guide projects from concept to construction administration, coordinating architects, preconstruction, and construction professionals toward design excellence, budget, and schedule adherence.

The role requires strong design sense, problem-solving, and communication with clients and consultants, plus the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial architecture
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial architecture for senior role
• Licensed in Colorado preferred
• Experience with Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Lumion, AutoCAD, Microsoft 365 Suite, Microsoft Project a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse audiences
• Strong programming, design and problem-solving skills
• Planning and entitlements experience with local municipalities is preferred
• Highly collaborative with big-picture goals balancing design, budget, and timing

Responsibilities

• Lead design from concept and planning through construction administration
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and maintain schedules
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal staff
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge
• Understand construction methods and detailed design requirements
• Work with jurisdictions to gain project approvals
