Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks a Mid-Career Project Manager to support AEDC at Arnold AFB, TN. You will manage costs, schedules, and resources for multiple engineering projects, track earned value, and report status monthly while guiding teams through risk mitigation and process improvements.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a related bachelor degree, and 5 years’ PM experience; PMP certification is preferred. Internal/external candidates welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Business, Management with 5 years’ project management experience.
• 2 years’ experience with budget management, financial forecasting, and controlling project costs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and access AEDC network.
• U.S. Citizenship required for employment at AEDC.
• PMP Certification or similar credentials preferred.
• Active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans with scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
• Cost and Schedule Management: Oversee budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
• Earned Value Analysis: Track earned value metrics to monitor progress relative to cost and schedule.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, document, and mitigate risks; escalate as needed.
• Resource Coordination: Plan and allocate resources across projects with supervisors.
• Stakeholder Communication: Monthly status reporting to stakeholders; coordinate with customer PMs and analysts.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements to enhance delivery and teamwork.
