Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a seasoned Project Manager in the Woburn, MA area for a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite. The role centers on budget control, vendor procurement, commissioning, and cross-functional coordination for mission-critical initiatives.

You will oversee purchasing for hardware and software, maintain integrated schedules, and drive readiness through closeout. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in data center or mission-critical construction, with strong vendor management and PM

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in data center or mission-critical construction environments.
• Experience directly managing project budgets and vendor relationships.
• Direct experience managing vendor procurement and purchasing & sourcing within a corporate procurement environment.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and Smartsheet (or equivalent PM tools). PMP preferred.
• Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage Holistic Project Budgets: Track budgets, forecasts, variances, and changes; provide regular reporting and quality control.
• Coordinate Purchasing & Vendor Sourcing: Handle quotes, purchase orders, deliveries, and invoice reconciliation for hardware and software vendors.
• Lead Commissioning & Project Closeout: Provide leadership through commissioning and final closeout.
• Coordinate Cross-Functional Project Activities: Align with Construction, Supply Chain, and Operations on schedules, submittals, and long-lead equipment.
• Maintain Project Controls: Develop schedules, milestones, RAID logs, trackers, and status reports for oversight.
• Support Project Readiness & Turnover: Plan readiness activities and turnover through project completion.
