Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to oversee complex initiatives across Memphis, TN, and Harrison, AR locations. You will coordinate resources, schedules, and budgets while engaging stakeholders and managing risks to ensure successful on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and effective communication with senior leadership and operations teams. Occasional travel and a collaborative, fast-paced environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field plus seven years of project management or process improvement experience.
• Certification such as PMP or equivalent highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Advanced experience with budgeting, scheduling, and business case analysis.
• Ability to travel as required and work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead project(s) of high complexity and significance to strategic objectives.
• Prepare estimates and detailed project plans ensuring resources meet objectives, on time, and within budget.
• Establish priorities and milestones considering interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
• Manage day-to-day project activities, vendor relationships, budgets, changes, risks, and issues.
• Contribute to establishing practices, templates, tools, and partnerships to expand project delivery capabilities.
• Demonstrate teamwork, innovation, and excellence in problem-solving.
