Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR seeks a project manager to coordinate cross‑functional teams and deliver highly complex initiatives on time and within budget, supporting strategic objectives across business units.

You will lead planning, estimates, and resource management, manage vendor relationships, monitor risks and milestones, and report progress to leadership while partnering with Operations Support and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in project management or process improvement.
• Certification such as SAFe PC/SA/Prosci PMP Lean Six Sigma or QDM Expert is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to lead across the FXF organization.
• Advanced experience with business analysis techniques in a wide range of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead high‑complexity projects aligned to strategic objectives.
• Prepare estimates and detailed project plans, manage resources, budget, and schedule.
• Establish priorities and milestones across technology, operations and business needs.
• Oversee all aspects of project engagement including meetings, vendor relationships, budget, risks and issues.
• Contribute to practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand.
• Demonstrate problem‑solving, teamwork, innovation and excellence.
• Analyze needs to provide ROI and cost‑benefit analyses and execution plans.
• Report on project results, milestones, risks and dependencies.
• Build relationships with management and process owners across FedEx Freight.
• Comply with laws, regulations and company policies; perform other duties as required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Communication/Journalism or related quantitative discipline

7+ years direct experience in project management or process improvement
