Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a senior project estimating professional to coordinate cost estimating improvements across NNL and PMS. The role helps establish a comprehensive estimating system and ensures resources and services meet NNL needs.

You will develop cost estimates, resource-loaded schedules, and oversee budgets while interfacing with stakeholders across multiple organizations. The position requires a strong background in project management, extensive experience with federal cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years in a related field, or Master’s with 7+ years.
• Experience developing and reviewing complex government cost estimates (DOE/DOD) preferred.
• PM experience across projects, programs, or portfolios.
• PMI/PMCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cost estimating improvements across NNL and PMS.
• Establish an estimating system to support NNL needs.
• Develop cost estimates and resource-loaded schedules.
• Evaluate change requests and manage budget vs cost.
• Lead knowledge sharing and lessons learned across the organization.
