Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Project Manager specializing in high end corporate interiors and tenant improvement to lead sophisticated commercial interior projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate will manage budgets from roughly $3 million to $10 million, lead multiple concurrent projects, and serve as the primary client liaison. Strong client relationships and ownership mindset are highly valued, with performance-based bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Experience with corporate interiors, commercial interiors, tenant improvements
• Proven ability to manage projects in the $3M-$10M range

Responsibilities

• Lead high end corporate interiors and tenant improvement projects
• Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects, up to five
• Serve as primary project leader and client point of contact
• Develop, forecast, and manage budgets, schedules, procurement and financials
• Lead preconstruction budgeting, constructability, scheduling, procurement strategy and RFPs
• Manage project controls including RFIs, submittals, change orders and pay apps
• Collaborate with superintendents and field teams to ensure safety, quality, schedule
• Lead owner, architect, consultant and subcontractor meetings and reporting
• Identify and resolve risks impacting cost, schedule, quality or client satisfaction
• Manage turnover, punch lists, commissioning and closeout
• Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers and team members
• Build strong client relationships and pursue repeat business and partnerships
• Demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset by owning project outcomes and financial performance
