Job summary

Hill International, a leading project management firm, is seeking a Project Manager in Houston, Texas. You will lead complex projects from initiation through closeout, coordinating owners, architects and contractors to meet goals.

You will manage budgets and schedules, review contracts, and ensure design and construction documents comply with requirements. Strong leadership, communication, and risk mitigation are essential to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture or engineering; 5-10 years PM experience.
• Experience leading on higher education/K-12 and/or research projects.
• Education and experience including training, registration, and licensure.
• Experience directing design professionals and administering contracts to meet goals.
• Experience directing contractors, reviewing schedules and estimates, and processing payments.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution through leadership, communication, coordination and conflict resolution.
• Oversee projects from initiation through design, bidding & award, construction and closeout.
• Lead meetings with owners, architects and contractors; strengthen client relations.
• Manage budgets, schedules and procurement; drive consultant performance and actions.
• Ensure documents comply with requirements; review contracts and submittals.
• Direct construction phase support to project staff; monitor progress and risks.
• Apply project controls to track progress and mitigate issues.
• Serve as primary liaison with campus staff and stakeholders for input and decisions.
