Job summary

CTI and Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead medium to large projects across DOE, DoD, and commercial contracts.

You will develop plans, manage budgets, mitigate risks, and coordinate with vendors to meet milestones while ensuring compliance and high safety standards. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 8 years of project management experience in government settings, with EVM and contract compliance familiarity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience in industries related to DOE, DoD, or government contracting.
  • PMP certification preferred, or equivalent project management experience.
  • Experience with EVM and contract compliance in government settings is required.
  • Must pass a satisfactory pre-hire drug screen and background check.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Must meet the physical requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the management and execution of assigned medium to large projects in DOE/DoD/government contracts.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and align with client expectations and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure milestones are met.
  • Track project budgets and expenses, report on financial performance, and forecast costs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure projects comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Communicate project status regularly to senior management and clients via reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate and manage resources across multiple departments for efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, reports, and change orders.
  • Other directives and activities may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the management and execution of assigned medium to large projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule, specifically in the DOE, DoD, and commercial contract environments.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures to guide project execution.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and subcontractors, to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Track project budgets and expenses, report on financial performance, and forecast project costs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize potential disruptions to project timelines or deliverables.
  • Ensure projects are compliant with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards as required by government contracts.
  • Communicate project status regularly to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders through formal reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate and manage resources across multiple departments to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including contracts, reports, and change orders.
  • Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Education, Experience and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (required).
  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience in industries related to DOE, DoD, or government contracting (required).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred), or equivalent experience in project management roles.
  • Experience working with project management tools and methodologies, such as Earned Value Management (EVM) and contract compliance in government settings (required).
  • Must receive a satisfactory pre-hire drug screen and background check.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements.
