Job summary

Carlson Design Group in Peachtree Corners, GA is seeking a Project Manager III to lead complex projects from inception through completion, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and mentoring project team members toward successful delivery.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources, coordinate design and construction documents with internal and external stakeholders, and oversee client relationships and project reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible project management experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing large or complex projects from beginning to end.
• Experience overseeing project managers, multidisciplinary teams, budgets, schedules, client relationships, and project deliverables.
• Strong understanding of design contracts, construction contracts, contract administration, project delivery methodologies, and construction document coordination.
• Competency in AutoCAD and Revit required.
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Revu required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from inception through completion, managing scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships.
• Act as principal point of contact for projects and coordinate design, production, and coordination.
• Coordinate design and construction documents with internal disciplines, manufacturers, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Oversee fiscal performance, including budgets, work plans, schedules, staffing, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and oversight to assigned project managers to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality meet expectations.
