Professional Employment Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Painting Project Manager in Denver to own multiple projects from planning through completion. You will focus on financial performance, scheduling, field execution, and client relationships, leading crews and coordinating with Superintendents.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll take ownership of multiple commercial painting projects from planning through completion, with a strong focus on financial performance, scheduling, field execution, and client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own the financial health and profitability of assigned projects
• Track labor, equipment, materials, budgets and job costs
• Review project schedules and ensure job durations and manpower plans are realistic
• Read and understand construction drawings and project documents
• Partner with Superintendents to plan manpower and upcoming work
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve delays or roadblocks
• Manage subcontractor and client pay applications and change documentation
• Prepare monthly billings and WIP reporting
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong GC/client relationships
• Lead and support field Superintendents and crews with accountability and respect

WHAT WE NEED

Commercial painting experience is required for this position.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 6+ years of project management experience
• Strong commercial painting background
• Proven experience managing project financials and profitability
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Strong scheduling and job-duration planning skills
• Experience with Procore
• Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively lead field teams in a positive, professional manner
• Clean driving record/MVR for company vehicle eligibility

Experience with Excel, Outlook and other construction management software is also valuable.
