Job summary

National Coatings, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial and retail painting projects, ensuring profitability and adherence to contractual obligations. You will oversee progress, manage subcontractor pay apps, and maintain strong client relationships while supervising field leadership.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in project management, excellent communication, and proven collaboration. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Eclipse, or Procore is a plus in this role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in project management
• Prior commercial and/or retail painting experience
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team player
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Outlook, Excel, Eclipse, or Procore

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the financial health of assigned projects, ensuring profitability while meeting contractual obligations.
• Oversee project progress, proactively identifying potential roadblocks, delays, or issues; implement immediate corrective actions accordingly.
• Proficiently manage subcontract and client monthly pay applications, subcontract amendments, and necessary written notifications governing the work.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while cultivating and maintaining client relationships; ensure timely responses to urgent situations.
• Track and manage labor, equipment, and material costs associated with ongoing projects.
• Lead and supervise the Superintendents, holding accountable for overall performance.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to determine proper manpower and schedules for upcoming projects.
• Prepare accurate monthly billings based upon current job completion status.
• Complete monthly WIP (Work in Progress) reporting.
• Lead, manage, exhibit, and hold accountable to the core values of Dedicated, Integrity, Pursuit of Excellence, and Team Player.

Experience and Qualifications:
