Job summary

Jobot in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for Commercial Interiors. This permanent, on-site role focuses on tenant improvements, ground-up builds, and lab support systems within healthcare, life sciences, and corporate office sectors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience in construction, strong client-facing communication, and a bachelor’s degree. PMP is a plus; competitive benefits and bonus opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in construction.
• Proven experience in TI, Ground Up, Clean Room, Life Sciences, Healthcare, QC Lab, Biochem Lab, MEP Infrastructure, and lab support systems.
• Strong client-facing and written/verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of commercial TI construction projects from planning to implementation.
• Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Developing detailed project plans to monitor progress.
• Managing changes to scope, schedule, and costs with appropriate verification techniques.
• Ensuring resource availability and allocation.
• Meeting with clients to clarify requirements.
• Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
